Read dimensions before scaling

Scale factors and percentages are different.

Start here

A factor of 1.5 means 150 percent of the original length. With uniform scaling, volume changes by the cube of the factor. Check whether a design contains intentional clearances or hardware interfaces before resizing it.

Check exported units

Reopen the exported model and verify a known dimension. Units can be lost in mesh formats or interpreted differently by software.
