Start with the slicer estimate for the model, supports, brim and purge. Divide the spool price by its net filament mass and multiply by the complete job estimate.
Separate the other costs
Electricity, labour, rejected parts, machine wear and shipping are separate costs. A material-only figure should be labelled as such rather than presented as a complete production quote.
